Crest Art Fest

Last Saturday was the Crest Hardware Fest, where bands played and art with the general theme of hardware and tools were presented by many well known and local artists. While I wasn’t able to make it to the actual festival, Crest Hardware on Metropolitan Ave in Brooklyn still has all of the art, installations and videos running in the store for at least another few weeks, and it’s definitely worth stopping by! I forgot I’d be in the area so I was left with only my phone to take photos, but I think some of them turned out quite well regardless! See below for some of my favorites:

What’s cool about a lot of the art is that it’s just in with the rest of the hardware and tools in the store, and you might just walk past some of the art at first. You really need to keep your eyes peeled and looking in some more unique places for it (up on the ceiling, on the floor, in between tools, etc!)

If you’re in the area, make sure you stop by before the art is gone!
